These Training Centres deliver NSQF-aligned, market led and fee-based training and certifications that address sectoral workforce needs, and are NOT degree-awarding in nature. In certain cases, universities may utilize these skill labs to provide the ‘applied / practical component’ of their B.Voc or work-integrated programmes, as permitted under UGC’s B.Voc Guidelines (2015). It is critical to clarify that such usage does not create or constitute an off-campus, study centre, or extension centre relationship. The Training Centres function purely as industry training sites to provide experiential exposure.
